The Senior Manager is responsible for the commercial strategy, pricing, and overall P&L financial performance of the portfolio within the Rogers for Business team. The Senior Manager will manage a team of pricing managers and will have overall accountabilities for all aspects of your portfolio of solutions requiring you to have excellent communications skills across every part of the Rogers\'s business as well as both direct and indirect team management skills.What you will be doing:Portfolio Strategy: Accountable to create and maintain a coherent product life cycle strategy for your portfolio that addresses the unique needs of customers across all customer segments. Establish product direction for existing products, including product extensions and additional target markets. Own the growth plan for the portfolio of solutions.Portfolio Roadmap: Track industry trends, product segment growth, and market share. Document concept for new products and/or enhancements to meet existing or anticipated market needs and present according to established product development process.Commercial: Create and analyze business models for any new Wireless & Wireline commercial offerings. You will work with the regional Commercial Managers, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams as well as key customers / partners to drive revenue, NPS and commercial success.Lifecycle Management: Monitor all aspects of portfolio performance (revenue, utilisation, penetration, cross sell / up sell, margin, quote to cash efficiency, on-boarding efficiency and accuracy, NPS and key customer service KPI\'s). Adapt your strategy and roadmap to ensure overall portfolio health through full life cycle management (concept to retirement).Customer Focus: Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products and constantly seek direct customer feedback on current portfolio performance as well as input on future plans. Ensure full engagement of sales and operations to make certain that any product and service delivered will delight our customers through thorough end-to-end processes.Sales Enablement: Ensure the support and training of sales staff. Participate in the development of all marketing collateral, including website pages, product releases, brochures, advertisements, video, and presentations. Provide support and subject matter expertise to the Sales, Specialist Sales, and Solution Architect teams for joint sales calls to key accounts, proposal/bid response, communicating product updates.Leadership and Management: Provide supervision, training, ongoing guidance, and mentorship to your team allowing them to accomplish their objectives and fulfill their responsibilities; monitor their progress and conduct performance reviews; interview potential candidates and own the hiring decision. Encourage continuous process improvements by developing ways to maximize each team member\'s involvement in all process improvements. Lead the day-to-day activities of your department to achieve both the corporate and departmental objectives.Performance: Track revenue and margins. Manage product line direction through an ongoing assessment of current products, pricing, and position; systematically develop and evaluate opportunities for new products and/or enhancements; and identify new target markets and related strategies. Develop, execute and maintain product business plans that provide current market information, including sales and gross profit margin history, year-to-date (YTD) actuals and projections, key market positioning, sales channels and competitive strategies, pricing, market share, product life cycle plans, and evolution plansWhat you bring:You must possess a blend of business and technical savvy.
