Summary:

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

Responsible for the specific planning and execution of our ESG strategy in the Canadian marketplace. This role will lead development of aligned objectives, strategies, & supporting initiatives across Canada, including alignment with Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited (CCCBL) along with national customers to achieve considerable progress vs our Sustainability (WWW, Water, Energy & Carbon) agenda. This role will leverage North America Operating Unit sustainability strategies and priorities but localize to the unique needs of the Canadian marketplace. The role will partner closely with Franchise Leadership GM to ensure stewardship and performance management routines to drive mutually beneficial Sustainability outcomes that deliver in line with overall Company and NAOU objectives.

The role will partner with our Canadian Regional Public affairs team to adapt sustainability strategies in line with local and regional policy and regulatory requirements

The role will partner with customer teams in Canada to implement, strategic customer and asset plans and priorities embedded within operating, marketing plans.

Partner with the broader Sustainability organization and cross-functional stakeholders to advance key projects, investments and business partnerships across the Customer, and community stakeholders in support of the ESG agenda.

This role will also support NAOU sustainability team around business case development and business model valuations as needed applied towards Canadian market

Partner with leaders across PACS to develop and execute Canadian specific customer-facing Communications and Advocacy agenda in support of the larger ESG & Sustainability agenda and expected outcomes.

Guide and support the Canadian Franchise group in effective engagement with the bottler, Customer and Strategic community stakeholder landscape. In turn, serve Customers, Asset & Strategic Marketing Partners as the \xe2\x80\x9cgo-to\xe2\x80\x9d resource on Sustainability related matters. Share learnings and best practices across this community.

Beyond the strategic plan implementation of environmental sustainability efforts in Canada, this role will also collaborate with the NAOU Stakeholder & Social Impact team to ensure alignment on stakeholder partnerships and community related programming and initiatives within Canada.

Experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred; 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in customer leadership, commercial leadership, assets and/or Strategic Partner management.

Working knowledge of the NA Franchise System, Bottlers and Governance processes.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with divergent and convergent stakeholders; proven record of accomplishment of collaboration and effective negotiation with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and effective action.

Partner with Sustainability and Customer/Partner leaders & teams to understand context to set priorities and create a well-considered roadmap to optimize delivery of the Sustainability agenda and objectives (World Without Waste, Water, Energy & Carbon), maximize value-based work and enhance our reputation by inspiring team to achieve high performance, leveraging resources and applying innovative approaches.

Apply an overall understanding of the evolving retail and competitive landscape and our sustainability agenda to analyze opportunities and challenges.

Develop winning strategies and initiatives that take our partner\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives, financial and operational capabilities, and constraints into account. Serve as a point of inspiration & education for our Customers, Assets and Strategic Partners and our internal teams.

Communication Focus

Lead ESG strategy and execution integrated with Canadian Franchise team and CCCBL in line with annual business planning process.
