JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for leading our Operations Finance team, and accountable for managing the costs of our breweries across Canada.

  • The role works closely across our entire supply chain, and VP Brewery Operations & Head of Procurement for Canada to support the development our strategic plan to deliver cost (COGS) improvement.

  • The role works on behalf of the breweries with Labatt Canada for all new production requirements, such as innovations, new promos & SKUs and their impact on our bottom-line.

  • Product Owner of all strategic Canadian Operation Finance business transformation projects. Projects will range in scope but will cover our ability to transform data to drive financial insight.

  • Manage Business Cycle & Monthly Financial Reporting

  • Uses analytics to identify opportunities ? financial and operational
  • Owner of all supply chain finance transformation

  • Support the business cycle as the owner of performance metrics, ensuring a direct link to financials. Work with the business to understand gaps and develop projects to improve performance.

  • Responsible to manage the financial forecasting process. Ensure consistency between performance metrics results and forecasted costs.

  • Analyze specific drivers behind lines of COGS in Labatt?s P&L:

  • Margin Breakdown: Performance, Price and Mix analysis

  • Spend variance analysis


  • Cost Management


  • Owner of our spend (including setting policies, building budget, routine analysis, and initiative identification to drive cost efficiencies)

  • Challenge our operations on targets, and assist in finding cost saving opportunities throughout the year

  • Create and maintain visibility into our spend and provide VP Brewery Operations with direction on areas of opportunity / how to reallocate resources



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mandatory: University degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, preferably complemented with Management Accounting designation.

  • Preferably +5 years? experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or relevant experience.

  • Ability to simplify complex issues.

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail and business acumen

  • The capacity to manage a wide range of multiple priorities

  • Ability to resolve issues with Technical and Business solutions

  • Ability Work multiple projects & stakeholders simultaneously

  • Background in Continuous Improvement projects (Lean or Six Sigma)

  • Strong communication and ability to manage multiple internal and external organizational relationships

  • Demonstrated accountability, collaboration as part of a team, and being customer focused, all while driving

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details

  • Technical Competencies: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, PowerBI & PowerPoint.
