Job Title Senior Manager, Sales Enablement, Private Insurance



















What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Manager for High Net Worth (HNW), you will be directly supporting the RVP, RBC Private Insurance in the achievement of strategic objectives and overall growth of the business. You will also be responsible for providing technical and tactical support and coaching for the HNW business. As the primary and trusted expert, key responsibilities include continuously providing advice and recommendations that ensure the daily execution of responsibilities by all Specialist are in line with our vision of providing best in class service and advice for our niche clientele. You will ensure the overall effectiveness of the training program, ensuring compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures while enabling RBCI to attract, engage and retain talent and reward behaviors that are consistent with our values. What will you do?

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Home, Auto, Liability and Commercial aligned to proprietary Channels
  • Enabling strategic decisions through leveraging analytics and leading presentations to senior management that identify and profile high impact strategies, opportunities and action plans to maximize shareholder value and employee engagement
  • Providing thought leadership on employee development and sales development aligned with a deep understanding of the strategic vision of the business strategy and key measures of success
  • Owning and creating the overall training programs from onboarding to ongoing upskilling for the Home & Auto and Private Insurance product lines, including content curation, approval, and quality.
  • Successfully support the RVP, RBC Private Insurance to integrate leadership initiatives, through proactive communication, issue resolution and effective decision making.
  • Developing and demonstrating key behaviors of top performers – putting clients first, collaborating and acting on our accountabilities
  • Promoting and creating a deepening client relationships environment, by leveraging RBCI’s full products and distribution capabilities.
  • Designing of role/career continuum and succession plan within channel ensuring alignment with other sales channels within enterprise to increase top talent retention
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  • Minimum 5 years of private client/high net worth experience with a deep understanding of Home & Auto, Ovation and HNW policies (Commercial experience preferred)
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience with onboarding content curation and upskilling new employees on products and proactive advice culture
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, highly driven and self-motivated with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent collaboration skills and strong presence to work with COIs and partners
  • Remain mobile to accommodate, as a specialist you will be on the road 2-3 days a week (50-75%)
