The Senior Manager, Business Operations provides strategic and tactical leadership, coordination and oversight to front line and operations employees, supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Business Operations Senior Manager some of your duties will included but not limited:

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Keeps all facilities functioning as intended, compliant with laws and regulations that reflects efficient services, while also protecting the surrounding community and environment.
  • Ensures all elements of infrastructure are serviced for efficiency, reliability, and safety, through regular preventive and demand maintenance.
  • Works with and through your team to find efficiencies and cost savings opportunities and implements new and innovative ways of working to capitalize on these.
  • Responsible for talent acquisition and management for the region.
Strategic Responsibilities
  • Oversight and accountability for offices within our Quebec and Atlantic provinces.
  • Strategic management of Operations & Maintenance (O&M), leased space and infrastructure, and furniture and equipment within our leased real estate.
  • Accountable for business readiness for multiple global ISO obligations and compliance, in preparation for yearly onsite/virtual audits.
  • Support the implementation of large-scale workplace transformation and service innovation initiatives.
About the team

The Business Operations team is a group of high performing, dynamic professionals with expertise in hospitality, client experience, office operations, facilities management and executive administrative support. We work on a variety of projects and tasks, ranging from high-level strategy and execution on key initiatives like the Future of Work to value add administrative support for our Partners and Directors on their client engagements. Day to day, we collaborate closely across operations and with our colleagues in marketing, events, business development, HR, finance and others to deliver value add service to our clients. We are the team known for getting stuff done.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone who has:
  • Minimum 6 years of operations, facilities, project management, real estate or equivalent experience, preferably within a complex professional service work environment
  • University degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or other related operations disciplines an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required
  • Demonstrated skill in vendor management and coordination
  • Experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a new and growing team environment
  • Previous experience supporting medium to large scale workplace transformations or business change, with previous management experience with physical office moves and build-out of new office environments
  • Exercises critical thinking and good judgement / decision making. A critical innovative thinker who is able to navigate gray areas, anticipate problems, formulate solutions and act accordingly.
  • Ability to travel as required
