Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:
As the Senior Manager of Brand and Asset Protection for North America, you will part of an innovative Asset Protection team, whose mission is to prevent, identify and mitigate risks to our business. You will support with the creation of foundational asset protection programming and will lead its delivery to our North American store base. Our business is rapidly growing and we’re seeking two exceptional retail security professionals to join us on this journey.
This role can be hired remote within the Pacific North West (US or Canada), or California. Business operations occur on PST time zone.

Brand and Asset Protection is a sub-group within the Business Excellence team. Collaborating with a diverse range of teams from across the company, Business Excellence is in global service to our direct channel business, through project management, data analysis, and on-going operational support. Business Excellence is a team of holistic thinking, problem-solvers and program managers who support the day-to day work and advance strategic business plan of the organization.

If you were the Senior Manager, Brand and Asset Protection now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Providing direct Brand and Asset Protection support to our North American retail stores and leadership teams
  • Educating and empowering our Store Leaders on health and safety, active threat and security best practices
  • Conducting sensitive internal and external investigations into policy violations, security incidents and criminal acts with a high degree of integrity and urgency
  • Acting as a company representative in any criminal proceedings concerning theft, fraud or other security matters
  • Supporting inventory control practices, investigating discrepancies, and developing and executing high shrink store strategies
  • Providing after hours incident response support to our retail stores and our North America leadership team
  • Cultivating relationships with market BIA, LE, DEA, ORC associations
  • Leading and conducting comprehensive store audits to evaluate risk and ensure operational excellence
  • Managing 3rd party LPO and Security Services relationships and developing risk-based business strategy
  • Supporting our new store opening process to create a foundation for success for our teams
  • Creating a progressive and best-in-class culture of retail safety and security awareness


Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Creating in-store agent programs and leading local market security teams
  • Sourcing, evaluating, and implementing best-in-class asset protection technology
  • Supporting international markets with AP programming and incident response strategies


Are you our next Senior Manager, Brand and Asset Protection?
  • You have 7+ years of progressive experience in asset protection, internal auditing, or a related function, in a multi-store retail environment.
  • You have one or more of the following designations: CFI, WZ trained, LPC, LPQ or CPP
  • You have a Bachelors’ degree or post-secondary education in business commerce, justice studies or a related field
  • You’re able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time and on short notice
  • You’re proficient in excel and are familiar with ecommerce fraud, incident management, environmental health and safety and exception reporting systems
  • You’re able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive threat assessments, policies and procedures
  • You have a great capacity for empathy and think deeply about the intersection of retail crime, social justice, and issues of inequality
  • You are data driven and have a deep desire to understand situations fully, while also recognizing that KPIs do not always tell the full story
  • You’re able to communicate safety and security risks clearly and concisely and are equally comfortable using excel & PowerPoint and metaphor and allegory to do so
  • You’re committed to personal and professional development, bring candor to conversations, and appreciate giving and receiving feedback
  • You operate with a high degree of integrity, stand by your word and update your partners if you’re unable to follow through on your commitments
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
