Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Uphold the highest standards of food presentation, ensuring every plate is visually appealing.
Requirements
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods of meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
