Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and providing exceptional support to our users. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As an IT Support specialist, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues via phone, email, or in-person.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.

Assist in the setup of new equipment and software installations. Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance checks. Document all support interactions in a ticketing system for tracking purposes. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions for complex issues. Educate users on best practices for technology use and security measures.

Skills

Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.

Cabling, Networking, Fire-walls

Deployment, POS, any Mobile devices, Troubleshoot Hardware & Software

Desktops, Laptop, Workstations, Printers, Hardware Replacements & Break & Fix services.

CISCO, Routers, Switches, Networking

Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on user satisfaction. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday On call Weekends as needed
