We are seeking a
Senior IT Analyst
with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering effective, user-focused solutions. Reporting to the IT Lead/Manager, the successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, software applications, and business process flows. This includes demonstrated experience in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, gathering and analyzing user requirements, and providing clear, effective end-user training. Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of successful project delivery are essential.
In this role, the Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization's IT systems across both office and remote environments. Key duties include customizing business applications, automating workflows, maintaining core network infrastructure, and delivering responsive user support.
The Senior IT Analyst will also provide expert technical guidance, document business processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance IT-enabled services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps and Power Automate), possess web development skills, and be adept at building interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
IT Operations & User Support:
Manage IT Help Desk and deliver second-level support; Ensure IT infrastructure is maintained and optimized; Deploy and configure new systems with minimal disruption; Collaborate with departments to meet tech needs; Escalate complex issues to vendors or senior staff; Provide after-hours emergency support.
Cybersecurity:
Monitor systems and respond to security alerts; Analyze and report on cybersecurity incidents; Implement security best practices (e.g., access control, encryption)
Application Development & Workflow Automation:
Support software development and testing; Collaborate across teams to build scalable solutions; Create and integrate APIs and reports; Develop workflows using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Salesforce); Provide training and documentation for users.
Requirements Gathering & Process Improvement:
Gather user and stakeholder requirements; Identify workflow optimizations; Recommend tech solutions to improve operations.
Disaster Recovery & Continuity
: Test and maintain backup systems; Update and execute recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Help Desk support, system administration, web application development including the use of low-code application development framework.
Demonstrated experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript).
Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data structures.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Understanding of power platforms, SharePoint
Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months and a satisfactory Drivers abstract.
Preferred Skills:
Windows operating system, Endpoint detection tools and basic networking
Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Copilot)
Exposure to data storage and management (Cloud-based databases - Dataverse, MySQL, NoSQL, Azure SQL)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), including building workflows, developing process improvement applications, and creating low-code automation and dashboards.
Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Experience with backend technologies like Node.js, .NET Core, or Django.
Understanding RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps tooling.
Possession of basic Microsoft M365 and Power Platform developer, Azure cloud services fundamentals, and basic cybersecurity certifications, or equivalent knowledge, will be desirable, as well as the willingness to develop mid-level proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
Threat detection, incident response, Windows operating system, and access control management
Full stack software development, Scripting or automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Git, and advanced no-code or low-code app development.
Azure cloud services and security best practices for hybrid cloud environments
