ZGF is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for the Vancouver office. We are looking for strong leaders and thoughtful designers with excellent communication and technical skills to join our vibrant and diverse culture of designers, planners, strategists, and industry thought leaders. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm with a focus on interiors for healthcare.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will\xe2\x80\xa6.

• Collaborate with and/or manage teams to generate and develop design concepts
• Clearly communicate design concepts visually and verbally to teams and clients
• Develop those design ideas into life
• Have a passion for programming, planning, materiality, detailing and furnishings
• Manage and mentor team members from concept design through construction administration
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and consultants
• Assist in developing fee proposals and project schedules
• Assist in projecting staffing needs to ensure design success
• Participate in business development activities and advise in marketing pursuits

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of related experience, with a focus on interiors for healthcare, hospitality experience is considered an asset
• A professional Interior Design or Architectural degree from an accredited institution
• NCIDQ certification and/or architectural licensure is strongly preferred
• Comfortable in detailing and execution of Revit construction documents with minimal supervision
• Communication, leadership, and organizational/managerial expertise
• Proficient 3D modeling and rendering abilities in Revit and Enscape is strongly preferred
• Substantial experience in commercial office and workplace interiors
• LEED, WELL, or FITWEL accreditation are strongly preferred
• Have solid knowledge of interior code requirements and building systems
• Experience with higher education and corporate workplace projects is desired
• Experience in workplace strategy and consulting is a plus
