we are seeking a talented and experienced senior hair stylist to join our nude salon team.
the ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working behind the chair, possess a passion for hair styling and have a deep understanding of what it means to provide exceptional customer service.
this role is best suited for someone with a developed client base, an interest in continued education and a desire for growth in the hair industry.
as a senior hair stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring client satisfaction and promoting salon products.
sr stylist - duties:
provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional advice on styles, products and at home care.
educate guests on salon products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry advancements.
be active on social media to develop a personal brand and active portfolio.
skills and expectations:
strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
proficient in hair styling techniques with a keen eye for detail.
knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
effective upselling abilities to promote products and services confidently.
excellent communication skills for clear interactions with both guests and team members.
must hold a registered hairstyling license in ontario.
hair extension experience is an asset, but not required.
compensation:
the senior stylist role will be will work on a percentage model. total yearly income will be unique to each stylist based on the growth of their clientele base and time invested.
