Position: Hair Stylist / Hairdresser

We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, and trend-savvy hair stylist to join our talented team. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for contemporary and classic hair design, exceptional client care, and a drive to stay at the forefront of beauty industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

:

- Hair Services: Deliver professional cutting, coloring, and styling services including balayage, highlights, root touch-ups, keratin treatments, and special occasion styling (updos, curls, etc.)

- Technical Precision: Apply advanced cutting techniques such as scissor-over-comb, razor cuts, and precision fades; perform barbering services, including beard and mustache grooming

- Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to assess hair goals, recommend personalized treatments, and ensure client satisfaction

- Product Knowledge & Upselling: Recommend and promote in-salon products and treatments to enhance results and boost client retention

- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in full compliance with Ontario health and safety guidelines

-Trends & Education: Stay updated on emerging hair trends, industry best practices, and evolving client expectations through ongoing education and training

-Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that values professionalism, positivity, and creativity

- Schedule Management: Assist in managing client appointments, ensuring punctuality and seamless client flow

Required Qualifications:

- Valid Ontario Hair Stylist License or Red Seal Certification

- Minimum 2-3 years of professional salon experience

-Proficiency in advanced color theory, corrective coloring, modern styling, and chemical treatments

- Strong foundation in various haircutting techniques (scissors, razors, clippers)

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for client satisfaction

- Comfort using technology for scheduling, client communication, and digital consultation notes

- Familiarity with social media platforms and an eye for basic content creation or salon photography

- Willingness to work weekends and peak hours as part of a professional schedule

- Committed to continuous learning, creativity, and evolving with the industry
