Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and detail-driven Electrical & Civil Estimator to support transportation and transit infrastructure projects, including streetlighting, traffic intersections, intelligent traffic systems, and duct bank installations. This role requires you to have a strong background in utilities estimating, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tenders from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical and civil estimates for transportation and transit projects such as streetlighting, traffic signals, intelligent transportation systems, and duct banks.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Lead the tendering process, including preparing bid documents, coordinating submissions, and developing cost-monitoring and reporting systems.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to negotiate and finalize competitive pricing packages.
Participate in site visits, tender reviews, project hand-offs, and close-out meetings to ensure alignment and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain and update a comprehensive database of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to support future estimating activities.
Work closely with engineering and project management teams to develop construction schedules, define scope-of-work methodologies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage and maintain project data in Bid2Win and other estimating tools to ensure consistency and traceability of estimates.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
Electrical trade background considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in utilities or infrastructure estimating.
Previous experience working on transportation or transit construction projects is a strong advantage.
Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bid2Win or similar estimating software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to teamwork.
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
