About Us

Horizon Moving & Transportation is expanding and seeking a

Sales Representative

to grow our customer base and secure local and long-distance moving contracts. This role is ideal for a driven, people-focused professional with sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Salary:

$4,500 - $5,500/month (base)

Commission:

3% on net sales for all confirmed local and long-distance moves

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility for client appointments)

Core Responsibilities

Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and lead follow-up Conduct client consultations (phone, email, and in-person) Prepare and deliver accurate moving quotes and service proposals Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and corporate clients Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth job execution Track leads, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools Represent Horizon Moving at community events and networking opportunities

Desired Skills & Attributes

Proven sales experience (moving/transportation industry is an asset) Strong communication and negotiation skills Customer-first attitude with a focus on relationship building Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and self-directed Comfortable with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools Valid driver's license and ability to attend client meetings as needed
