Lotus Transportation is located in Brampton, Ontario, and established to be one of the best service providers in the region for Intermodal Container Trucking, Warehousing and Crossdocking. We're looking for committed and specialized Business Development Manager to join our Logistics team.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to negotiate effectively to close deals. This position requires a proactive approach to business development and the ability to leverage Salesforce and customer relationship management tools to enhance our outreach efforts.

Duties



Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals. Utilize Salesforce for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing our products/services. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

Requirements



Proven experience in Intermodal Container Trucking, Logistics Warehousing and Crossdocking Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,995.00-$130,000.00 per year
