Senior Engineer Digital Design

Job Description
Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Senior Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Understanding and reviewing the high level architectural specifications
- Writing RTL (System Verilog) and design specification that detail the implementation of the architecture
- Working with the verification team to debug and close functionality
- Working with the physical design team to help guide floor-planning and drive the physical synthesis of your block
- Analysis and characterization of power, using gate level simulation and power analysis tools
- BASc or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
- 5 years + experience in RTL Design
- Excellent understanding and experience work in an ASIC/COT design flow
- Scripting skill with preferable languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, Csh/Bash
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with processor based ASICs is a plus
- Bonus Point
- Experience with physical synthesis preferred
- Experience with static timing analysis preferred
- Experience with power analysis preferred
