What\'s the Opportunity?

The RBC Technology & Operations DevOps team is looking for someone like you! Someone who is an outstanding leader in the Robotics Process and Intelligent Automation space who will deliver strategic value horizontally across RBC.

You will play a key leadership role in leading a team of automation experts in providing coaching, guidance, and optimized processes to all lines of business in meeting their automation goals and objectives. You will be a trusted partner who has a strong working relationship with all lines of business and a good understanding of their automations needs across the organization.

In this role, you will report to the head of DevOps and lead a team of exceptional Automation Experts and Infrastructure Leads to strengthen RBC\xe2\x80\x99s industry-leading Robotic Process Automation platform. You will be a visionary for the future of Intelligent Automation at RBC and be responsible for bringing the latest innovation and technology ideas to plan.

What will you do?

Lead the Robotics Process & Intelligent Automation (RPA) Center of Enablement (CoE) team to provide expert guidance to all lines of business across the enterprise in the areas of identification, development, deployment and production support

Set the direction and lead the execution of Process Automation strategies, plans, targets and objectives that align to RBC\xe2\x80\x99s Technology & Operations strategic vision

Lead Enterprise Technology Currency initiatives and Product Upgrade initiatives to reduce risks and impacts for the RBC RPA community

Provide leadership and act as the Subject Matter Expert to all lines of business for the Robotics Process & Intelligent Automation technology including industry trends

Manage the relationship with RBC Technology Infrastructure teams to deliver a resilient and scalable infrastructure platform in support of RPA Operations at Scale

Design and deliver enterprise RPA development standards, best-practices, guidelines, training, etc.,

Provide SWAT team support to lines of business in issue management & resolution, performance optimization etc.,

Maintain strong relationships with all business partners to understand their automation needs and challenges

Deliver strong customer engagement through coaching engagements, community meet-ups, practitioner steering groups, focused user groups

Increase automation opportunities and benefits by defining/expanding technology paths/solutions for end-to-end Intelligent Process Automation

Manage vendor relationship and provide license management

Track and communicate enterprise key performance metrics to Senior Management

Must-have:

10+ years of professional experience in information technology, management consulting, program delivery etc.

2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in leading the design and development of Robotic Process Automation applications, with tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath, Pega Robotics Automation etc.

Strong technical skills and infrastructure knowledge, including advanced knowledge and experience in Robotic Process Automation tools/processes

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills among senior leaders

Excellent Business Relationship management skills

Experience in delivering technology solutions in support of financial related industry

Ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive deliverables and take a leadership role in moving initiatives forward and removing obstacles

Proven track record in leading large complex technology programs from planning to implementation with Agile Methodology

Strong Impact and Influence skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and drive outcomes without having direct authority

Highly proficient in vendor management, contract negotiation and license management

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain automation technologies to non-technical business audiences

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent business degree
