About this team

We are a group of passionate individuals delivering lululemon's Corporate Financial and Inventory Systems roadmap globally. The RPA (Robotics Process Automation) platform team is focused on building a global, scalable and secure robotics process automation framework for the business. This is a new capability lululemon is standing up to address the growth needs of our global business.

A day in the life

  • Accountable for the end-end design and implementation of automated processes, RPA platform, infrastructure, and it's integrations
  • Create RPA architectural artifact (conceptual, logical, and physical architecture), review PDDS, SDD to ensure that the automations meet functionality, quality, security, performance, and integration requirements
  • Lead, mentor, coach and guide the technical teams to ensure solutions meet the requirements, quality, and security standards
  • Liaise with all relevant project and automation stakeholders and provide strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor
  • Work with internal stakeholders to provide architectural recommendations and guidance and departmental presentations
  • Act as the prime Robotic Process Automation subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders
  • Participate in the requirements gathering sessions, document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of business value through process improvement and automation
  • Accountable for the to-be process design flows, document the key risks, mitigating controls, performance measures, cost drivers and business continuity plans for processes
  • Support the front-line staff through change implementation with appropriate consultation, training, and support in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
  • Implement process monitoring and control structures to ensure that improvements are achieved and maintained over time
  • Participate in regular coaching with reporting manager on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Problem solves issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes
  • Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages
  • Work within project planning constraints and communicate any identified project risks and issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness of automated process
  • Code Review the developer's code to ensure quality, security, performance, and re-usability of code for implementation of the RPA robot (digital worker)
  • Secure the approval from Lululemon various governance teams and application owners for the end -end design RPA solutions
  • Provide input into the preparation of business case
Qualifications
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, math, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of work experience as a solution architect designing/building complex solutions
  • 7+ years of software development experience in .Net or similar
  • Understands the strategic technical direction of middleware, continuous Integration and continuous deployment, testing, systems management, enterprise data & access layers, and pertinent styles of computing
  • Demonstrated projects experience in RPA, Data, application, integration architecture, infrastructure, networking, and security
  • Working knowledge of various API integration platforms, restful API specification
  • Working experience on Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS is preferable)
  • Understands the impact of design decisions, technical behaviour of the underlying operating system, technical behaviour of the data management layer, compiler, and tools
