Robotic Process Automation Architect / Lead – Contract position in Vancouver (remote):
On behalf of our client in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Robotic Process Automation Architect / Lead with our client for a contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to develop automation strategies for new and existing, on-premises and cloud-hosted applications.
• Design and develop efficient automation models with a focus on scalability and reusability.
• Analyze, understand and document business processes in detail and determine eligibility for automation (cost savings, increased accuracy, time savings, etc.).
• Ensure designed solutions meet business requirements.
• Build, maintain and expand RPA offerings.
• Create and maintain design and technical documentation.
• Configure new processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand using Robotics technologies with Automation Anywhere.
• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.
• Work collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs.
• Provide necessary details for CAB and oversee code migration from Dev/Test to Production.
• Provides useful statistics and actionable recommendations to management on defect rates, rework, and any risks or achievements in delivery.
• Build and maintain RPA best practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other IS team members to drive improvement to our operations and support practices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and champion the exploration of
  new methods and technologies.
• Mentor and advise IS and technical teams on engineering architecture best-practices. Champion the exploration of new methods and technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Nice-to-have:

• 10+ years’ experience in software Design and/or Development.
• 3+ years’ experience in RPA design and development using Automation Anywhere (A360) platform.
• Degree or diploma in a technology related discipline, or a mix of industry certifications & strong experience.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical audience.
• Proven Knowledge of Integrated development environments.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Automation Anywhere certifications preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills accompanied by good judgment in order to prioritize, manage and work with limited guidance in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Thrive in a high paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
• Exhibit an excellent customer service focus, strive to deliver the best service to our staff.
• Confident, results-oriented individual; lead by example and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Work experience in a regulated industry like Life Sciences, Pharma or Finance would be an asset.
