Your Opportunity:

Join Canada\'s fifth largest company; AHS, which is at the forefront of Information Technology in Canada. This role will join an industry-recognized team helping to lead innovation in Alberta Health Services and its partners in Intelligent Automation/RPA. Multiple positions available. As a Senior Automation Developer, you will design automations for less experienced developers. Candidates will receive Blue Prism training. This position may be scheduled to work after hours, evenings, or weekends and may work on additional projects as required. Job Specifications: Lead the design of new automations, processes, wireframes and objects. Follow established Automation COE processes. Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications Test automations and debug code Liaise with other developers to decide on layout/UI/UX elements Ensure all software documentation is up-to-date Train and mentor junior developers/students. Design how end users will interact with web pages. Developing back-end website applications. Designing and developing APIs. Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages. Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications Build with a variety of intelligent automation technologies. The role reports to the Program Director, IT Intelligent Automation, who reports to the Executive Director, IT Centres of Expertise, who reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience. Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Great MS Office Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). At least three years\' experience with: Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3 A relevant back-end programming language (e.g., C#, .Net, Python, JavaScript). Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions. Preferred Qualifications:

Broad knowledge of the systems development life-cycle, Agile, solution design, testing, and documentation. Understanding of XML/REST. Working experience with Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
