Senior Development Manager

Job Description

A successful Vancouver Real Estates Company is looking for a Senior Development Manager. You will be Reporting to the CEO and CFO and be responsible for the full-cycle management of

the development process and being involved in the construction strategies. The role will be focused on

both residential and some commercial development projects. To succeed in the role, the candidate must

have real estate development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the real estate development process from due diligence, planning, design, rezoning,
  • scheduling, and preliminary budgets.
  • Lead the entitlement process with the city.
  • Research and understand municipal policies, standards, and guidelines to inform and assist with
  • the project design and municipal approval process
  • Assist with managing the consultant RFP, contract, invoicing, and change order process
  • Actively participate in consultant meetings
  • Travel as required to project sites to meet with stakeholders
  • Variety of ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant real estate development experience, including experience
  • working for an established architectural firm.
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business, Urban Land Economics, Architecture,
  • Planning/Design, Engineering or similar
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and smart-phone operation.
  • Positive attitude. Smart casual to business casual attire required.
