Senior Delivery Operations Analyst

The Team:

The Data Delivery Operations group in S&P Global focuses on providing clients with world class service and operational excellence. The initiative focuses on leveraging S&P Global\'s highly regarded expertise in financial markets to develop innovative solutions to service client needs. The Data Delivery team is the strategic delivery channel for the Market Intelligence Division and expected to continue to rapidly grow and expand its responsibilities and value creation for the firm in the coming years.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Delivery Operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, improving, and expanding our Data Delivery service for delivery of data via files and API.

You will work cross-functionally across Data Delivery & Product agile teams to facilitate a market leading customer experience through our onboarding process.

Core responsibilities:

• Working closely with data producers and clients to understand the delivery requirements
• Providing technical consultancy for API integration
• Creating and managing bespoke file configurations
• Active involvement in the incident management process, ensuring we meet customer expectations
• Troubleshooting and investigating issues
• High level of involvement and contribution during incident retrospectives
• Running client migrating projects from legacy systems to the Data Delivery platform
• Engagement with senior clients & stakeholders
• Documentation and process mapping
• Drive process optimization and automation
• Working closely with the product and development teams to raise issues and propose improvements to the platform
• Project management & project reporting
• Running the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning
• Owning the monthly KPI Reporting and generating insights based on the operational metrics

What We\'re Looking For:

S&P Global is seeking a Senior Delivery Operations Analyst who participates in providing extensive configuration services and support to Delivery customers, working closely together with teams in multiple regions. This hands-on role will require translation of customer requirements into timely and accurate delivery output through files or API integration, for our large customer base.

You will be responsible for creating and supporting a wide range of file configurations servicing financial datasets, complex business logic, formatting, scheduling/triggering, and publishing. The candidate should be comfortable working in a multisystem environment and be able to configure and test file configurations and API code samples through the QA & UAT environments. The candidate will need to be capable of working with different business groups and stakeholders across multiple locations and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Requires knowledge and experience working in financial institutions and working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive and demonstrates a good understanding of IT & development methodologies. The role also requires experience with scripting and data modelling as well as being able to configure operational tooling with predefined variables.

Key Requirement:

• Bachelor\'s degree
• 4-8 years relevant experience, preferably with a FinTech, Information Technology, Finance or Data background
• Experience with Jira, AzureDevOps, Salesforce, Splunk, MS Excel, & PowerBI
• Affinity with technology and a working knowledge of XML, SQL, Python, JSON, SPL & MQL
• Additional affiliation and knowledge of Java, HTML/Javascript, C/C++, C#, Perl, VBA is a plus
• Excellent data analysis skills & understanding data storage, structures & modeling
• Experience in the development and operation of enterprise applications
• Working experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban & LEAN
• Expertise in analyzing and understanding client needs and translating requirements into solutions
• Excellent communicator and problem-solver
• Good project management & project reporting skills
• Highly motivated, disciplined, detail-oriented, takes initiative and works well in a team
• Strong time management skills and organized with a continuous improvement mindset
• Clear, structured, and professional in both writing and speech with experience presenting
• Client interfacing experience
