Job Description


The Senior Financial Operations Analyst will support our Moka customers, customer success teams and Portfolio Managers to ensure a high degree of data accuracy and a great customer experience. You will process client onboarding, ensure accurate transfer of funds and a variety of other daily tasks and projects.   • Build positive relationships with stakeholders by responding to inquiries in a timely manner, understanding the business, and maintaining professionalism
  • Translate data into easily understood reports and communicate results with the team
  • Set up client investment policies and investment models in internal Portfolio Management system
  • Process investment funds valuation, subscription and redemption processes
  • Process account transfer-ins and transfer-outs
  • Actively support the compliance and operations teams with various process enhancement projects
  • Identify and promptly escalate irregular activities or issues and assist in determining corrective actions
  • Review and analyze investment processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Assist in completing information requests for internal and external audits
  • Support and/or manage special projects and duties as assigned
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and junior analysts on operational processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Work with external counter parties and internal departments to investigate and quickly resolve reconciliation discrepancies
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
  • Ability to work in English and French is highly preferred
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
  • A willingness and ability to learn new software and technologies
  • Proven continuous process improvement mindset and positive team attitude
  • Comfortable working on daily repetitive tasks and unstructured projects
Nice to Have
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Experience within an investment firm, financial sector or similar fintech environment
