Senior Consultant, Change Management - Workday Implementation (12 Month Contract)

This is a senior leadership level role reporting to the VP, Human Resources & Communications.

The Senior Consultant, Change Management - Workday Implementation will be a key driver to the successful implementation of the Workday Human Capital Management System. Building on Dynacare\xe2\x80\x99s change management framework and practices, the incumbent is responsible for designing, communicating, training and deploying best practices to build change capability and user adoption of the enterprise-wide technology. This role will work with the executive team, senior leaders, Human Resources and the global project team to manage the multi-dimensional elements of the Workday HCM implementation \xe2\x80\x93 change management, organization design, project communications and training.

What You Will Do:

Change Management

  • Develop and deploy a holistic change management strategy and plans that align people, processes, and technology aligned to Dynacare\xe2\x80\x99s values
  • Work with business leaders and the HR project team to understand the change impacts and develop solutions to address
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders - HR team, business leaders, PMO office, external consultants and global project team to assess risk and actions to improve project delivery outcomes
  • Participate in the core project team as the change management workstream lead
  • Coach employees and leaders to build change capability
  • Provide integrated and aggregated view of all related activities across the overall project providing escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership
  • Measure, track and report on progress of the change management plan across various levels of the organization
Organization Design
  • Partner with business leaders, HR and global project team to assess project impacts to current structure and design roles that align to new processes, role accountabilities, and reporting structure
  • Provide guidance and subject-matter-expertise on org design principles, industry best practices
  • Build implementation plans (short-term and mid-term) to support the changes
  • Work with HR business partners to create job descriptions, functional competency models, talent assessment tools and career paths to aid in the selection and development of employees
  • Build short-term and mid-term resourcing plans for the org design
  • Develop tools and process to support business leaders and HRBPs in conducting talent assessment, selection and mapping
Communications
  • Create a communication strategy focusing on positively influencing or changing behaviour
  • Develop a robust communications plan that addresses needs of various stakeholders
  • Deploy multi-level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or employees are consistent, appropriate, and aligned to business strategies and project objectives
  • Develop frequent project updates and supporting materials that are integrated within the change management plan
Training
  • Assess training needs and partner with appropriate stakeholders to develop the plan, support delivery
  • Support creation of training material and tools
  • Monitor training delivery and measure training effectiveness
Required Knowledge, Skills & Education:
  • 10+ years of working knowledge of organization development and experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted change management initiatives
  • Strong project planning, project management, and project integration experience
  • Human capital management consulting experience in a client-facing role is an asset
  • Highly versed with technology and technology implementations as well as enterprise-wide projects
  • Exceptional presentation, oral and written communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation experience
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyze findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor able to develop collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholder
  • Bilingual (French & English) will be a strong asset
