Bring your information management, reporting and analytical skills to ServiceOntario\'s Reporting and Information Management Unit, Citizen Experience, Strategy and Integration Division in this exciting opportunity.

In this role, you\'ll need advanced knowledge and experience in information management, reporting, performance reporting and analysis techniques to generate intelligence in support of data-driven decision making and process improvement. You\'ll also need to be technically savvy with superior knowledge and experience with computer software applications enabling information management, data management and analysis.

You\'ll plan and manage the collection, analysis, and presentation of data in reports and dashboards that focus on outcomes, supporting government priorities and overall modernization within the fiscal plan.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
  • manage and maintain Information Management systems
  • lead and co-ordinate concurrent projects to identify, analyze and evaluate integrated service delivery solutions
  • prepare recommendations for the development of new innovative reports and products
  • plan, lead and co-ordinate the design, development, prototype testing, and implementation of re-engineered new services and products
  • develop and present analysis, findings and recommendations to senior management
  • develop and recommend strategies to meet organizational objectives
  • build and manage effective business relationships


How do I qualify?

Analytical, Research and Problem-Solving Skills

  • You have proven research and problem-solving skills to support the implementation of report development and delivery and information management processes and solutions
  • You have a knowledge of analytical concepts and techniques to conduct analysis of business data
  • You can manipulate and analyze complex data and information; analyze issues through statistical analysis and modelling.
  • You can identify trends, potential risks and develop mitigating strategies


Technical Expertise

  • You have knowledge of performance measurement methodologies and models
  • You utilize change management and risk management skills to efficiently introduce new/re-engineered products and services
  • You are proficient with a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and PowerBI that includes supporting data analysis and information management processes and storage


Communication and Collaboration Skills

  • You can effectively manage business relationships and provide written/verbal instructions and advice to clients, colleagues and management
  • You can respond to specific requests for data/information and provide technical advice and briefings to executives
  • You have experience developing effective option papers, reports and presentations
  • You demonstrate collaboration and negotiation skills to obtain an understanding of business processes and generate agreements on new/re-engineered business processes


Project Management Skills

  • You have project management skills in order to lead, coordinate, and track projects as well as assess if milestones have been met
  • You understand decision-making processes and strategic/operational planning to support planning and performance measurement activities


Strategic Planning and Organizational Skills

  • You have knowledge of and experience with strategic business and operational planning
  • You have well-developed organizational skills to prioritize work within tight, competing deadlines
  • You can plan, direct and expedite concurrent projects and expedite progress to support client and business needs
