Our client is a fast-growing and forward-thinking public practice accounting firm known for its commitment to collaboration and innovation. They are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team and play a key role in managing client financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required for this position.Advantages

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping services for clients.
• Oversee daily accounting tasks, including payables, receivables, and recording transactions in the general ledger.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Generate and review financial statements such as profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
• Prepare and submit GST and PST filings.
• Manage the preparation and submission of WCB reports.
• Complete and file various tax forms, including T1, T3, T4, T4A, T5, and T5018.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online required (Cannot be Desktop version).
