As our bookkeeper administrator, you'll be a key member of our organization, ensuring that every bookkeeping and office administration detail behind the scenes is handled with precision and care. This isn't just another bookkeeper administration role--it's a strategic position and for the right candidate, this is an "in waiting" opportunity to step into future leadership, with a clear path to becoming our Administrative Manager.
What You'll Do:
Lead and oversee daily requirements of bookkeeping, accounting and office administration operations, with the prime focus on prompt bookkeeping to ensure all invoices are accurate and issued promptly
Assist with the development and implementation of office procedures and policies that keep us efficient and compliant
Manage office resources, supplies, and vendor relationships
Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless operations
Support operations teams with scheduling and administrative tasks
Act as the primary bank contact and manage financial workflows
Administer payroll, benefits, and Group Savings Registered Plan
What You Bring:
Advanced proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to ERP systems
Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
English language competency (required)
10+ years of progressive bookkeeping, accounting and office administration experience, including team leadership
Diploma in bookkeeping/accounting (required)
Experience in HR is an asset
Bondable and committed to integrity
Valid Driver's Licence
