About the Role
We're looking for a
Senior Architectural Technologist
ready to step into a
Project Lead role
in our
Greater Vancouver studio
. This is a career-defining opportunity to:
Lead
high-profile SSMUH and luxury residential projects
in Vancouver, Burnaby, and surrounding municipalities.
Be a trusted partner for clients, consultants, and municipalities.
Mentor and elevate the next generation of design talent.
Deliver projects that meet BC's highest
Step Code standards
and help shape the future of sustainable residential design.
What You'll Do
Lead clients through all phases of design and construction.
Manage timelines, budgets, and communications with confidence.
Produce and review detailed, accurate construction drawings in
Revit
.
Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, municipalities, and builders.
Mentor junior and intermediate technologists, raising technical quality across the team.
Ensure compliance with
City of Vancouver, Burnaby, and other municipal requirements
.
Integrate
Step 3, 4, and 5 Building Code
requirements into design and documentation.
Support the development of
Net Zero and high-performance projects
.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of residential and/or
multi-family design experience
, with proven project leadership.
Advanced proficiency in
Revit
(preferred) or comparable BIM software.
Mandatory:
Familiarity with
SSMUH projects
in Vancouver, Burnaby, and other Lower Mainland municipalities.
Mandatory:
Experience with
Step Code 3, 4, and 5 building requirements
.
Strong Preference:
Knowledge of
Net Zero and high-performance building design
.
Excellent communication skills and a strong client-facing presence.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
