About us Turner Fleischer is an adaptive and agile Toronto-based Architectural studio of approximately 240. What are we looking for? We have an immediate opening for a Senior Architectural Designer/Technologist within our Commercial + Industrial department. Our ideal candidate has a strong design and construction sensibility, is self-motivated, and highly skilled in the production and coordination of deliverables to successfully execute projects autonomously.
Some key responsibilities are:

• Understanding budget, scope of work and schedule prior to commencement of a project;
• Producing drawings/documents utilizing Revit in accordance with client specifications, budget, applicable building codes, and project timelines;
• Ensuring work adheres to TF drawing standards and reviewing work of other team members for the same;
• Presenting design solutions to clients, consultants and contractors as required throughout a project’s lifecycle;
• Leveraging technology to increase efficiency and enhance visual presentations;
• Identifying issues of potential risk proactively during the life of an assigned project; and,
• Attending offsite work, including site visits, meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and municipalities.

Profile of the ideal candidate: You have:

• A Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture;
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible roles within Architecture firms;
• Proficient experience in Revit, SketchUP and Adobe Creative Suite;
• Good working knowledge of applicable building codes, municipal by-laws, and municipal approval process;
