Organization Description: Bluegreen Architecture (BGA) is a vibrant, well respected, architectural firm located in downtown Kamloops. The successful applicant will have a solid technical background including the ability to work confidently in Revit, AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. They will bring their experience, skillsets and passion to the role and provide support for drawing production across all stages of design. Demonstrated ability with consultant coordination, field reviews and construction administration would be a tremendous asset. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare architectural designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches and specifications
• Create 3-dimensional BIM models for use by various departments and teams
• Produce, organize and distribute all building drawings and documents including development permits, building permits issued for construction and site instructions
• Efficiently operate computer-assisted design and drafting workstations
• Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets based on current project and team needs
• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
• Ensure clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner

Qualifications:

• Intermediate level knowledge of Revit, Autocad and 3D modeling and rendering software
• Working knowledge of BC Building Code
• Minimum 4 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with design for residential construction
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking and time management techniques
• Ability to navigate relationships with contractors, clients as well as coordinating consultants
• Experience with a diverse range of building typologies\xe2\x80\x93 Residential, Commercial, Industrial
• A discerning and detail-oriented eye
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Registered with the AIBC or eligible to register within the province of BC
