About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Affairs, Communications and Community Relations for copper assets of the new North America and Philippines Region, the incumbent will be delegated organizational communications responsibility to support the region in achieving its business plan objectives. The incumbent will act as an advisor and strategic ally to the Region\xe2\x80\x99s Management and teams and its 6 sites, to propose innovative, engaging and employee experience-based approaches.
Specifically, the incumbent will be required to:
Develop the Region\xe2\x80\x99s annual internal communications Strategy and calendar;
Develop and deploy communications plans and tools adapted to the needs of the Region\xe2\x80\x99s teams;
Advise and support site communications teams regarding organizational communication;
Create and manage the Region\xe2\x80\x99s intranet site, including planning, coordination, content development and updating;
Participate in the development and organization of various internal events;
Draft and develop, on a regular basis articles, news and internal notes, as well as videos, ensuring that the Company\xe2\x80\x99s brand and quality standards are maintained and protected;
Monitor trends and innovations in organizational communications.
Do you have what it takes?
University degree in communications, human resources, industrial relations or another related discipline. Experience in a similar position in an industrial environment is an asset.
Good knowledge of the tools, strategies and trends in the field of internal communications.
Excellent analytical skills, strong strategic mindset, proactive approach, focus on innovative solutions, high autonomy and good teamwork skills
Bilingual with excellent writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various content creation software
Languages: Bilingual (English and French).
