Your mission Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, you will be responsible for planning and managing internal campaigns and support tools for the operations teams. Your most important measure of success: your ability to mobilize and engage our people to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to grow our market share in the security industry. You will work closely with many colleagues to achieve this, but it is your expertise in the field that will make all the difference, and you will have a direct impact on creating a winning culture. Focused on results, you will need to understand how to support the company\'s goals while enhancing the employee experience to make them brand advocates and ambassadors. As our company expands globally, your role will ensure that our internal communication program is fueled by informed and engaged teams. Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on all matters related to employee engagement.
  • Develop and activate internal communications strategies and initiatives that will deliver on our true alignment across operations.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of all internal channels (Intranet, frontline workers app, internal newsletters).
  • Act as a brand ambassador, gatekeeper, and influencer of the employee experience.
  • Support and participate in a broad range of communications initiatives focused on employee engagement and empowerment, across several key topics related to the following: human resources (recruiting, benefits, performance), information technology (training, updates), employee health and safety, finance, sustainability, recognition, etc.
  • Involve key stakeholders in the development and implementation of an integrated and efficient internal communications calendar.
  • Write and produce certain internal communications content, including for the intranet, email announcements, newsletters, videos, webcasts/podcasts and others, in collaboration with external agencies when necessary.
  • Contribute to the sharing of best practices within the internal communications team through regular touchpoints.
What is needed to succeed:
  • Degree in Communications, Administration or related field, and/or combination of at least 10 years of similar experience, including prior experience as a Communications Manager or equivalent in a B2B environment.
  • Must be bilingual (FR/EN), with excellent English writing and editing abilities.
  • Strong storytelling skills combined with good summarizing capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with others effectively, persuasively, and tactfully.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint.
  • Advanced skills in producing presentations.
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Positive energy and maturity with the ability to serve as a unifying force.
