Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, the Senior Advisor is responsible for contributing deploying and measuring marketing and communications strategies in order to support the promotion of the bank\'s products including B2B Bank, LBC Digital and Laurentian Bank brands. This also includes acquisition and growth strategies via external and internal channels.

Responsibilities :

  • This role will be part of the marketing communications team and oversee the planning, development and deployment of marketing and communications tactics, including product information, promotional campaigns.
  • Strong contribution to proactive campaign management discipline across all campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend content requirements and develop content marketing strategies. Partner closely with marketing delivery channel leads and brand team to develop relevant communication for corporate websites, social media, email, direct mail, marketing materials, and other external communication channels. This also includes some content support (FAQs) for internal customer facing roles.
  • Contribute and implement and annual marketing communications and advertising strategy; lead creative development and media planning.
  • Understand, follow and challenge digital marketing initiatives (paid and owned)
  • Develop and report on key marketing metrics; and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide input into the Marketing budget and assume accountability for delivering initiatives within assigned budget.
  • Manage relevant agency / vendor relationships.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and proactively identify opportunities to evolve.
  • Support / contribute to corporate marketing and other initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures for self and team.
  • Accelerate the marketing team\'s transformation to leverage insights to increase campaign effectiveness while increasing CPA efficiency.
  • Work in conjunction with the Business and Sales organization to develop campaigns that will achieve desired results, while managing costs and continuously optimizing performance.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, compelling verbal presentations to senior decision-makers, and respond quickly and thoughtfully to challenges in meeting situations.
  • Diligently enforce brand standards across Personal Banking, ensuring consistency and adherence to the standards and protecting intellectual property.


Qualifications :

Your background and experience is both broad and deep
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing within financial services and banking (lending, deposit, and investing products), including developing and executing direct-to-consumer (D2C).
  • Proven track record of leading national campaigns, marketing strategy and execution.
  • Advanced understanding of all facets of marketing planning, marketing communications and campaign execution, leveraging best practices in campaign management.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative, strategic thinker who is comfortable with change, ambiguity and challenges the status quo.
  • A highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines.
  • Able to leverage a client-centric, agile approach for rapid, iterative delivery of campaigns & tests
  • University degree in a related field. BComm and/or MBA is a strong advantage


Qualifications
Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
