Description:
As an Instructional Designer Senior Advisor, you combine academic knowledge with practical experience in instructional design, graphic design and modern learning environments. Using your knowledge of planning, design and development, you will create learning solutions, programs and products using various methodologies and modalities. Using a consultative approach, you will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to determine the learning needs that will help achieve organizational and development goals. You will also bring a comprehensive knowledge of adult learning principles, employee and leadership development, and evaluation to the role. Experience with project management and working with all instructional design aspects of a project from inception to completion is essential. As the Instructional Designer you can apply practical knowledge about instructional practices, learning outcomes, and delivery modalities. You have experience developing for multiple modalities, with a focus on facilitated learning (in-person/virtual) and eLearning. You have advanced knowledge of eLearning authoring software, specifically Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate, and are able to develop graphic elements using Adobe Creative Suite, in addition to understanding the technical requirements to incorporate multi-media elements to develop engaging eLearning solutions. Things are always changing in the world of adult learning, so you will also need to stay abreast of current trends and best practices to help AHS provide learners with the best solutions for their development needs.
