We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The Senior Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist will oversee and ensure accurate and timely processing of all AP and AR transactions. This role is essential to maintaining healthy cash flow, building vendor and client relationships, and supporting financial reporting and audits. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep experience in financial operations and systems, with proficiency in various accounting software. Experience with SAP Business One is preferred.
Duties
Accounts Payable (AP):
Manage full-cycle AP process, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
Maintain vendor records and ensure timely vendor payments
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies or overdue balances

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Customer and internal invoicing
Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Process cash applications and maintain accurate customer accounts
Resolve billing issues and collaborate with sales or customer service teams as needed
Support month-end close with accurate AR reporting and journal entries
General Duties:
Support internal and external audits with required documentation
Identify and recommend process improvements in AP/AR workflows
Collaborate with the accounting team to support accurate month-end and year-end closes
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to ensure smooth transactions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
5+ years of relevant experience in both accounts payable and receivable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
Proficiency with accounting/ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
