Professional Security Guard

in Windsor, Ontario

Job Title: Security Guard

Job Location: Windsor, ON

Job Type: Casual

Pay Rate: $ 19.70 per hour

Shifts: Rotational, weekends included (full availability is an asset)

Overview

:





Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Windsor.

Requirement:

Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring. Experience with report writing and note-taking. Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems. Valid

Ontario security guard license.

Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (A driver's abstract may be requested)

Must be eligible to work in Canada for

40 hours per week.

First Aid and CPR Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

:

Access control for the facility/area Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training Vehicle Gate and Console duties

On-the-Job training is required: ERT-Emergency Response Training initial training program

This site has implemented a "Clean Shaven" policy for Personal Protective Equipment purposes.
