Domcor Health, Safety & Security Inc , a long-standing division of The Corrado Venture Inc. Group of Companies (CVI), is currently hiring Security Personnel in Trail British Columbia area for some upcoming projects. DHSS and its constituents conduct business across multiple sectors and strive to advance universal industry health & safety standards. This security position will require full time availability for night shifts and possible day shifts. The length of the shifts are 12 hours long. Successful completion of British Columbia provincial security licensing is required.

What you will be doing:

Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift Provide exceptional, high level customer service to the client in a sometimes challenging and dynamic environment Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of all client facilities, and provide access control as needed Enforce regulations and follow site specific instructions Patrol client properties to prevent unauthorized entry Conduct Drug screening and Alcohol Breathalyzer tests as required Conduct searches and control access/egress of secure facilities Effectively communicate all suspicious activities and concerns to the appropriate supervisors or Law enforcement, as required Ability to resolve workplace issues and resolve same through nonviolent conflict intervention Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Valid British Columbia Basic Security License (BST) Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract Full Time availability, as our team works on 12-hour rotating shifts Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (afternoons/nights/weekends) Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public, in a professional and effective manner ability to conduct mobile patrols in 4x4 Security Truck in all weather and road conditions.
