Job Description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for security guards for one of our sites in Kelowna, BC. We are looking for guards who are interested in supporting and working with those who are less fortunate and/or in need.

Position hours:

Saturday & Sunday 11pm - 7am

Wage:

$23.00

Some of your responsibilities include:

Provide superior customer service to our client and site users Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms Equipment alarm response and monitoring Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

Your Must-Haves:

A valid BC Security License Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Your Nice to Haves:

A valid Basic First Aid (OFA 1) certificate Prior security experience in a similar environment
