Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to ensuring the safety of the premises.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure security protocols are followed. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to theft or other criminal activities. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while adhering to established protocols. Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods as well as respond quickly in emergencies.
