Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a strong commitment to upholding security protocols.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and security. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities and maintain records of incidents. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required. Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations. Physical fitness sufficient to perform the duties required by the position, including standing for extended periods and walking long distances.
