to join our team at a

construction site in the Napanee, Ontario area

.
This position offers potential for advancement into a

Site Supervisor role

, based on experience, leadership, and communication skills.

:

Access Control:

Manage and oversee all entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel access the site. Verify identification and maintain detailed entry logs.

Visitor & Worker Assistance:

Support workers and visitors with sign-in/out procedures at the front desk. Maintain accurate daily records of all site personnel.

Patrolling:

Conduct regular patrols throughout the site, focusing on exterior areas to identify security or safety risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Client Interaction:

Maintain a visible, professional presence at the site entrance. Greet clients and visitors courteously and assist with inquiries or directions.

Fire Watch Duties:

Monitor potential fire hazards as required, ensuring all fire safety equipment is operational and accessible.

Escort Services:

Accompany vendors, contractors, or visitors across the site to ensure safety and compliance with access restrictions.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with site managers and construction teams to promptly address security concerns and promote a culture of safety and respect.

Professional Conduct:

Always maintain a sharp, professional uniform appearance, representing MGL Protection Services' standards of excellence.

Position Requirements

Valid Ontario

Security Guard License

WHMIS Certification

(can be provided if not current)

4-Step Safety Awareness

certification (preferred)

CSA-approved Safety Boots

(required)

Hard Hat and High-Visibility Vest

(reimbursed by MGL)

Schedule:

0600 hours (6 AM) to 1800 hours (6 PM) on weekdays. On-call fire watch responsibilities. Weekend and overnight duties may be assigned at the client's request.

Job Types:

Permanent part-time and on-call positions are available.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
