Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter criminal activity and ensure safety. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within the facility. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict resolution techniques. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is an asset. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Must possess a valid security license where required by law.
