Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.


As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.


Schedule- Sat/Sun 0000-1200


Location- N9C 0B9


Training pay rate- $19/h

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

Communicate clearly via radio, plant radio, and phone system Monitor fire alarm system and investigate alarms Manage rail movement on site and ensure safety protocols are followed Create customs invoices for trucks crossing the border Monitor clearance updates for products and trucking companies Record, prioritize, and follow shipment schedules Record all persons entering and leaving the property Handle a high volume of truck traffic Create bills and invoices for shipments

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification required Capability to manage high truck traffic volumes Proficient in Excel and other computer programs Strong organizational skills to record and prioritize shipments Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
