Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall safety of the premises.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring all security measures are in place and functioning properly. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports of incidents. Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security risks and recommending improvements. Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly to incidents. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management is a plus.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
