Job Description

Our Montreal based client is seeking for a experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run until August 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the integration between SAP TM and other modules (SD, MM, LE, GTS) and external systems, along with practical familiarity in Order-to-Cash, stock transfer, and intercompany processes. This will be a remote position, with potential travel to the clients office.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional configuration of SAP TM core components: transportation planning, freight order management, charge calculation, and master data.
• Design and implement automated freight planning strategies, planning profiles, and carrier selection rules to optimize operational efficiency and cost.
• Own the setup, migration, and integrity of all TM master data (Business Partners, Transportation Lanes, Freight Agreements) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and map "as-is" and "to-be" transportation processes for the carve-out, identifying gaps and configuring the system to support the new, independent marine entity.
• Collaborate with SD, MM, LE, and GTS functional teams to design and test critical integration points, ensuring seamless order-to-cash and procure-to-pay flows.
• Provide expert-level support and documentation for transportation-related processes, and conduct key user training sessions to ensure a smooth transition.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on SAP TM capabilities and transport management best practices for the project team.
