Job Description
Join our team as an Italian Sandwich Assistant at the local farmers market! This is a beginner-friendly position ideal for someone who enjoys working with food and interacting with people in a lively outdoor setting. You'll help prepare and assemble delicious Italian-style sandwiches using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Responsibilities Include:
Assembling sandwiches based on set recipes (like Caprese, Italian sub, or focaccia-style melts)
Prepping ingredients such as slicing bread, vegetables, and cheese
Wrapping and labeling sandwiches for display
Keeping the work area clean and organized
Helping with setup and takedown of the stall
Providing friendly customer service and handling basic transactions (if needed)
Skills/Qualifications:
No prior experience needed -- training provided
Interest in food, especially Italian flavors
Ability to work quickly and cleanly
Friendly attitude and good communication skills
Punctuality and reliability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.70 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
