Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on food preparation, sanitation, and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities - Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - Assist in managing inventory by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed. - Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. - Help train new staff on food preparation techniques and sanitation practices. - Adhere to all food safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Skills - Strong basic math skills for accurate measurement and pricing. - Experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or restaurant settings. - Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Cashiering experience is a plus, along with familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
