Job Overview

Mr. Greek Donair is looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our team as a Front-Line Donair Sandwich Maker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh and delicious donair sandwiches, taking customer orders, serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble donair sandwiches, wraps, and platters according to company standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Operate the POS system for processing customer orders and handling cash transactions. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Practice effective time management to meet order demands during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain a sanitary work environment. Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and colleagues. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.
