As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining the highest levels of culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste. Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary skills.
