Sales Representative job openings in Toronto, ON (non-profit/humanitarian)
Adecco Professional has partnered with our client in the non-profit arena to hire a group of at least 8 Sales Representatives to support on a corporate advertising initiative - starting late next week! The position will have you working in teams of two and meeting up with business professionals in their offices downtown Toronto, Ontario to share information on the initiative; please note this is not a financial fundraising project but to generate buzz and knowledge on volunteering as a corporate team. This position will involve a lot of walking/standing throughout the day along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - an outgoing, positive energy is best suited as you present the information to corporate professionals! Please note that paid training will be provided.
LOCATION - Toronto, Ontario; downtown
HOURS - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
DRESS CODE - branded t-shirt and tote with materials/swag provided; polished and professional presentation (comfy walking shoes)
TIMELINE - just over 2 weeks (paid training day included)
Some of the Sales Representative job opening in Toronto, ON responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Working in teams of 2 and attending a mapped out location area; some meetings will be pre-planned and some contacts provided to meet with but some will be cold walk-ins/meet ups
Walking to various corporate towers and to attending to various offices within to speak with decision makers; some storefront stops included
Presenting the initiative and showcasing how corporate partners can make a difference with their teams
Answer questions, providing support and leaving information for them
Key is to generate some sincere interest in having the companies want to be a small part of a large need in the non-profit arena
Tracking and reporting the attended meetings, drop ins/drop offs, and sharing any successes and/or struggles on a daily basis (shared between the partners in daily morning huddles)
Other duties as assigned.
Some of the requirements for the Sales Representative job opening in Toronto, ON include:
At least 6 months sales/fundraising/lead generations related experience; B2B preferred but open to B2C
Energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Exceptional and confident communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present to all levels of professionals with ease
Passionate about the non-profit sector and the focus of giving back and helping others
Hardworking, committed, punctual
A strong team player who works well with others; shares the work and helps each other
Must be able to walk and stand much of the shift time; breaks allocated of course
